SUMMARY

Each fall, the “dorm flu” travels through Penn State’s crowded lecture halls, dining commons, study spaces and anywhere else students gather. Initiated by the Indiana Immunization Coalition, “Beware of B” aims to prevent additional outbreaks of meningitis B on campus. The group has lobbied all 14 Big Ten schools to add a meningitis B vaccination requirement for their students.
